I need a thread where people can post little tidbits of gaming news that others might be interested in without starting new threads each time. I'll begin with this little goodie:

Bioware1 are making a "Sonic the Hedgehog" RPG game
http://kotaku.com/gaming/wtf%3F/bioware-and-sega-team-for-sonic-rpg-270998.php

This is bizarre. Bioware are awesome, and have never made a game I didn't like. On the other hand, the Sonic the Hedgehog universe was great once, but has not had a good game released for it in 10 years. What will come of this? Who knows?

Coming sometime in 2008 to Nintendo DS.

_____
1 RPG GODS!

The DS Sonic is good. But yes, they mostly sucked after Sonic And Knuckles.

NW2 sucked balls.

I am very much looking forward to Starcraft 2 though. If I deem that as suxor then Blizzard have brainwashed me forever.

After our conversation the other night about Heroes 5 and Heroes 3, I judge this already to be the case. v

The last Blizzard game to involve any sort of skill at all was Starcraft - everything since has been based on keeping the idiots happy by not killing them for doing stupid things.

Warcraft III? I contest that inolved as much skill as Starcraft.

However, I think the only real Blizzard game to require skill is The Lost Vikings.

I did that last night, Smee. I found Olaf, Baelog and Eric. I thought it was very cool.
But I exclaimed as much to my party, and they didn't seem to care. I don't think they've got any culture.

Did anyone play TLV2: Norse by Norsewest?

I wanted to play it for ages, but never have. Is it worth finding it on an abandonware page?

I may have it for SNES. I'll look, if you remind me. Played them both during exam time. Also Blackthorn.
