I think it is a bit rich to market it as a mobile Internet device when it doesn't have a sim card slot built in. You need to buy an additional 3G dongle use it anywhere that doesn't have a usable wifi signal.

That said, I have never heard of this devie before so I would suggest reading some Internet reviews to get a true picture of it's capabilities. Certainly seems cheap!

What would you like to use it for?

eg. Web browsing and email at home, or entertainment (reading/games/books), or entertainment/internet on the go... :)

Buy an iPad, seriously. Maybe wait til iPad 2, which I imagine they'll announce in Feb. But there's a reason why the iPad is number 1.

at a quarter of the price of a non-3g iPad, and not running an Apple OS, there's probably a quite valid reason to be looking at something like this as an alternative for some people and their desired application.

The next Android release is meant to have stuff tailored for tablets, so the ones at the moment are a bit hacky.

If you just want it for sitting around home, and if the 'touchiness' is good, surely it'd be OK. Cheap way to browse the net.

Curse that Apple OS!

It's running Android 2.1, which wasn't well received, even for phones. If you're comfortable flashing it then you might be able to get a newer version running on it.
